This is getting hopeless. I formatted the drive (the above procedure did noy work) and when installing the system, it says “No packages were eligible for install. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again”.

Use the following command in terminal to set the machine to a time and date of your choosing:
